To keep your indoor spaces cool, try putting some plants around the house. They will help you keep your rooms clean and healthy

-Potting soil is used to grow plants in containers and is a mixture of soil, sand and peat moss. Helps improve aeration and soil and retains water so it doesn’t run off.
-When compressing potting soil, look for brands made with natural ingredients. Also, consider buying a light-colored mix so you can see if any critters are damaged.

-There are many types of pots that, when filled with soil or substrate, maintain the perfect growing environment for a wide variety of plants. For example, terracotta pots are a classic and durable option if you choose a glazed terracotta pot.

-Plastic containers are light and are usually the most economical option; however, some studies show that chemicals from certain plastics can leach into the soil, so care must be taken if growing edible plants in plastic pots.
-Choose a container that is the right size for the root system of the plant. When a plant is too big for its container, it can stay in the water too long; when a plant is too small for its container, roots may grow around or behind the potting mix. You can combine several small plants in one large pot, or add a large focal point and spread a combination of smaller plants around it.

-Plan your space carefully. Leafy plants need perennial six hours of sun a day. Annual plants and vegetables need more, up to eight hours a day.
